Learning Objectives

The course aims to analyse the economic characteristics of the tourism system. In particular, it will be studied the area as a tourist destination, through the analysis of the main actors involved. Given the complexity of the analysis will be taken into account - as well as the economic dimension - the environmental aspects: they will then study the main characteristics of sustainable tourism. Finally, the course will also professionalizing content through the presentation of "case studies".


Course Structure

The course has two part. The first one is related to the micro and macro economic approach to tourism. The second part is instead focused on the charcateriscs of the tourism sector from the supply and demand point of view.
