Detailed Course Content

The aim of the course is to provide the main theoretical and empirical perspectives about the processes linked to creative thinking and feeling, to introduce to specific terminology, methodology, applications, and interpretation of empirical data connected to these domains. At the end of the course students will be able to know the main theories and methodologies, to apply them in their professional job, to promote, carry out and realize actions useful to promote creative abilities in daily-life activities and in contexts characterized psychological vulnerability.

Main theoretical models of creativity and method for the improving of divergent thinking. Thinking styles. Creativity in relation to psychoanalytic perspective. Creativity and psychological resilience. Researches on creativity in relation to personality factors, learning disability;socio-cultural disadvantage, thinking styles.
