Giuseppe Carmelo PILLERA
PhD in "Fondamenti e metodi dei processi formativi" at the Department of Education Sciences of the University of Catania, where he is currently a Researcher in the SSD M-Ped/04 - Experimental Pedagogy and where he has been a research fellow and contract lecturer. He was also contract lecturer at the University of Messina, where he taught Experimental Pedagogy. From 2015 to 2016 he was a visiting researcher at the Universidad de Sevilla (Spain). He is member of university research groups and has been teachers trainer and external evaluator in several school projects. He was a technical collaborator and then a researcher at INVALSI from 2021 to 2023. In 2022 he was awarded the National Scientific Qualification (ASN) as a second-rank university professor in the sector 11/D2 - Didactics, special pedagogy and educational research. He is reviewer for national and international scientific journals and member of the scientific committee of the Bonanno Pocketbooks - Pedagogy series. His research interests lie in the fields of: new technologies for learning, especially in a collaborative key; project design and evaluation in educational contexts; school evaluation and self-evaluation, areas of study on which he has written monographs, contributions in volumes and articles in national and international journals.
