GENERAL PSYCHOLOGY
Academic Year 2015/2016 - 1° YearDetailed Course Content
Focus will be on the following topics: behavior, perception, learning, memory, thinking and reasoning, language, emotions, motivations, intelligence. Further it will be addressed the main theoretical currents, with attention to their historical origins and cultural contexts in which they are established. In particular, the course aims at the understanding of theoretical assumptions of the following schools: structuralism, functionalism, Gestalt theory, historical and cultural reflexology, Piaget, Freud, cognitive psychology.
