FRENCH LANGUAGE
Academic Year 2018/2019 - 2° YearLearning Objectives
The French Language Course aims at gaining and improving communicative skills in French as Foreign Language, at acquiring the matching grammar structures, in order to achieve a good know how in the field of tourism, with regards to both oral and written skills. The required level of language competence is Level B1, according to the European Framework of Reference. The teaching also proposes the achievement of transversal skills of a methodological nature, such as the development of operational autonomy and self-assessment, and of European citizenship
Course Structure
The teaching methods proposed will be mainly those of the participated lesson, and of cooperative activities to stimulate motivation, comparison and active participation; students, the frontal lessons will be limited to the phases of systematization and metalinguistic reflection.
Detailed Course Content
Activities based on language functions and structures concerning the field of tourism, comprehension and didactic use of authentic material are planned together with some related lab activities. The indepth course schedules the testing of French travel websites, in order to set students out to do a power point presentation on tourism and travels.
